The Methods of Teaching course is typically scheduled over a six-week period, several times throughout the year depending on demand. Clients who have previously taken the instructor certification exam and were not successful, are accepted for individualized assistance to prepare for re-examination. The State Board for Cosmetology has revise the requirements for continuing education classes. Now the requiered 4 hours instead of 6. For Instructors it is now 4 hours instead of 12. These new policies will commence in 2021. For additional information or questions please contact Melissa Horton.
